Summer is once again a flash of brilliant colour offset by the trend of nude of naturals continuing.

With citrus colours featuring in summer clothes it is only natural for shoes to follow. The trend for the pop of colour has been taken seriously by shoe makers with some bright pops appearing.

The rules are that there are no rules. We are meant to wear a purple shoe with that citrus yellow dress. For the less adventurous there are always a safe metallic, nude or tan option.

Bling on flat sandals always makes us smile and our favourites of Senso Italy and Sambag have lots of pretty options.

Heels are not as scary as the last few years with wedges still a saviour. Platforms feature to also help out with the foot pain.

Texture on the leathers is a strong trend with the patterns often looking more like elephant skins and the very expensive crocodile skin.

Traditionally the Italian and Spanish shoes are the first to hit the store so don't dally come in for a play.
